For my Mum

This is my Mum. She was a beautiful Mum. A beautiful woman.  She had an inner beauty that not many people have. She taught me how to be a better person from the inside out……

This is my Mum. She was a happy Mum. A smiling woman most of the time, despite her disability, despite what had happened to her, despite the fact that she had pain many days and didn´t want to be confined to that wheelchair. She was determined and she taught me how to be that way, to be a stronger person…………………..

This is my Mum. She was a generous Mum. She gave me all she had to give and even what she did not have, just to make me happy and she taught me to give generously to others when and if I can……………….………………

This is my Mum. She was a glamorous Mum. She always looked so fantastic and I always wondered how, for I do not seem to have taken that trait but my daughter follows in her steps……………….

This is my Mum. She was a loving Mum to me and to my child,  “the light of her life”, for Saskia was, and still is, a shining star to her and always will be……………..

Thank you Mum, for being my Mum………..I miss you still, even though the years have passed so quickly by.... A kiss and a hug for you...x
